About us
We are a not-for-profit social enterprise organisation that exists as a learning community platform for ethnic minority women in the Leeds City Region.
We are an organisation that brings together Professional Black women and seeks to work together to bring about positive changes in the communities they work and live in.
To be the professional and personal development community platform for Professional Black Women in the UK.
To leverage skills, lived experiences and unique contributions made by Professional Black women in their communities.
We work together with organisations to raise awareness, advocate for social justice, and create business opportunities and resources.
We are grounded on research and we provide bespoke services such as consulting, peer support groups, workshops and initiatives that facilitate and moderate talks that promote well-being and equality.
We adopt a community-centred approach to help tackle inequalities for Professional Black women. We know that they play an important role in society and are a crucial
support system for their families and their communities.
A community-centred approach is about connections, leveraging a person's assets; skills and knowledge and providing support and resources that will bring awareness, business opportunities, and capital resources to black women enterprises.
We also adopt a co-production and collaborative approach in developing our initiatives with stakeholders in order to offer bespoke and specialised support where needed.
