The Empowerment Champion of the Year Award 2026

I am so thrilled and this means alot to me and to all the magnificent women who support me to be who I am and to whom I owe a tonne of gratitude! I have learnt along the way that it's about how much you care. It's not about what you do, your accomplishments, your positions in the society you are or the privileges that have been afforded to you.

One of my values, is not to gatekeep, to support and advocate for those that can't sometimes figure out what's next, to cheer them all.

For the ladies who support me, hold me accountable, who we are doing life with, to the communities that everyday we dust ourselves, show up, create, innovate with the little we have, this is to you.

Thanks to the men in my life, hubby and my two sons who still don't know what I do, but they know to get out of the way.

I hope that my boys will be allies and advocate for their wives and daughters, if nothing else, I have made sure my legacy will live through them.

I didn't see this over 7 yrs when I started this adventure...it was an idea that continues to evolve magically.
